Joint Butter "Spray" jnts023 for Aches, Pains, Arthritis, Bruising & Minor cuts n scrapes
Joint Spray actually started out as Joint Butter..I created Joint Butter because I wanted a nicer smelling chemical free butter to use for my own personal muscle aches and joints. It's not always easy or quick to get butter on your back though, so I created the spray for ease of use. Each bottle of spray starts out with Witch Hazel. To that I add Lavender, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Clary Sage & Rose Absolute. I then top it off with Distilled water. Each oil chosen for a specific purpose. I like to use it right out of the shower on my back and legs. If I'm going to take a bath I like to put about 6-10 spritzes in the water while the tub is filling. Is also good to spray on a hot moist wash cloth to put spray side OUT on your face if you have a headache or are feeling anxious. If you are having any issues with your feet.. itchy or otherwise, try it out on your toes before putting on your socks.

Contains Semi-Precious Gemstones in it to mix the oils with the Witch Hazel & Distilled Water.

About the Ingredients:
Lavender 40/42 While the vast majority of Lavender 40/42 in the market are synthetically compounded, Lavender 40/42 purchased from Essential7 is 100% Natural and is blended to match the ideal percentage of Linalool and Linalyl acetate esters to release the best of Lavender floral notes. History: Lavender has been used since ancient times as much for its perfume as for its medicinal properties. Romans added lavender to their bath water, hence the name derived from the word 'to wash' - lavare.
Cautions: Avoid high doses during pregnancy because it is a uterine stimulant.

History: Peppermint and its name has its roots in Greek mythology. Pluto - god of the dead - fell in love with Minthe, a beautiful nymph. Pluto's goddess wife Persephone became jealous and turned Minthe into a plant. Pluto could not bring her back to life but ensured that she would have a wonderful and fragrant aroma. Some say that Peppermint Essential Oil has long been credited as being useful in combating stomach ailments. It is also viewed as an antispasmodic and antimicrobial agent. Of course, most people will associate it with being a flavoring or scenting agent in foods, beverages, skin and hair care products (where it has a cooling effect by constricting capillaries and helping with bruises and sore joints), as well as soaps and candles. This is largely due to its menthol content.
Cautions: Peppermint Japanese Essential Oil can be sensitizing because of its menthol content. Avoid use during pregnancy

History: Eucalyptus Globulus Essential Oil has been used on all sorts of skin ailments such as burns, blisters, wounds, insect bites, lice, and skin infections. It has also been used to combat the effects of colds and flu, and there is a history of its application to sore muscles and joints. Eucalyptus Oil has long been used in the home in Australia, and in Spain, the timber of Eucalyptus was used in construction.
Cautions: Eucalyptus Oil should be used in dilution, and be avoided during pregnancy. It is considered toxic if taken internally, non-irritant and non-sensitive. Avoid if you have high blood pressure or epilepsy.
Why use Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is a safe & natural approach to addressing health issues and imbalances in both humans and canines when used correctly.

Clary Sage History: The name is derived from the Latin word Claris for clear, probably because the herb was once used for clearing mucous from the eyes. By the Middle Ages it was an esteemed medicine, also known as Oculus Christi, or the Eye of Christ. During the sixteenth century it was used in England as a replacement for hops when brewing beer.
Clary Sage Essential Oil is viewed by aromatherapists as an antidepressant, antispasmodic, deodorant, emmenagogue, nervine, sedative, and uterine tonic. It is thought to provide a mild euphoric action, balancing uterine problems, and as an agent to clean greasy hair. There is also some documentation on its effectiveness in helping to relax spasms caused by asthma.
Cautions: It is not to be used during pregnancy

History: Bulgaria has over a 300 year tradition in essential rose oil distillation. Approximately 4000 kilograms of petals are required to produce 1 kilogram of pure rose oil. Its exotic nature and value were appreciated in ancient times by the Greeks, Chinese, Indians, Persians and Romans. All documentation indicates that their medical applications of the essential oil were identical to those that exist today.

Is Aromatherapy Safe?
Yes, when used as directed by a registered aromatherapist. Rather than bombarding our systems with synthetic chemicals that can sometimes have far reaching and unforeseen effects, the use of essential oils offers a natural, balanced choice.

What precautions should be considered?
Always test a small area on your Inner elbow or the area of intended use before generally applying and wait 12-24 hours. If you or your dog responds negatively to the smell or it causes irritation, you should discontinue use.

Never spray any oils in or close to eyes, ears, nose, mouth, any exposed skin or sensitive areas.

Some oils, like Lemon, Orange and Bergamot, are phototoxic and exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided for at least 4 hours after being applied.
The use of oils when humans or dogs are or might be pregnant is not recommended. The use of essential oils if you are going through Chemo is not recommended. While some oils can be used safely during this time, you should check with your Doctor, vet or a registered aromatherapist before using them.
